Our pupils have returned to school following lockdown and we want to promote active travel to get our children to school safely and healthily. We have once again been recognised as a Cycling Friendly school and our banner is on display at the Salamanca Crescent entrance to the school. With Bike to School Week next week would like to encourage all children to bring their bike or scooter to school ensuring they are wearing a helmet for their safety. We have scooter pods in the infant playground, a bike shelter and bike/scooter racks near the front entrance for the safe parking of these. We would recommend any bikes/scooters to be padlocked where possible, throughout the school day.
